What is Pass Plus?

Pass plus is a course that has been designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) for newly qualified drivers to gain that extra confidence and valuable driving experience required for the busy roads of today. When taking the Pass Plus course you will build on your existing skills and knowledge as a driver and will cover different types of roads that you did not cover when taking your driving lessons. There are six modules that you will cover on the pass plus scheme they are as follows:

• Town driving
• All-weather driving
• Driving out of town
• Night driving
• Driving on dual carriageways
• Driving on motorways

There is no test at the end of it, your driving instructor will continually assess your driving when taking the Pass Plus scheme. To successfully complete the course you must complete each module by having an achieved or exceeded standard.
